One of Gabor’s specialties is teaching presentation skills to those who might need them. Because we like to share, we’ll give you a few tips!
1) Your audience needs to get something out of your presentation — they need to be informed, persuaded and entertained.
An effective presentation is a balance between the speaker’s needs and the needs of the audience. Before writing the first word of your speech, you must assess the following: who, what, why, when, where and how. You must also assess your audience. Are they aware of your subject? Do they know anything about it, or are they misinformed? You are their teacher. Your speech is the first step to be the most effective presenter you can be.
